The formula includes:
Zinc Oxide - according to the
American Academy of Pediatrics, helps to protect a baby’s
skin from diaper rash. Zinc Oxide is also the number one pediatrician-recommended
ingredient for fighting diaper rash.
Petrolatum - Also known as
petroleum jelly. This is used in cold creams, emollients,
and other skin creams. It is a purified combination of hydrocarbons
made from petroleum. It helps to soften the skin.
Lanolin – Besides being
a wonderful emollient, it is one of nature’s own oils
and adds a waterproofing quality to Pinxav to keep out moisture.
Stearic acid - serves as a
softener.
Cetyl alcohol – Cetyl
alcohol is not really an "alcohol" such as ethyl
or rubbing alcohol, which would dry the skin, but is an emulsifying
wax made by combining fatty alcohols derived from vegetable
sources. It is used in many cosmetics as an emollient, thickening
agent, moisturizer, emulsifier, stabilizer, as well as a carrying
agent for other ingredients.
Aluminum Hydroxide - Found
in a variety of antacids such as Mylanta©, Maalox©,
Rolaids©, and others, used to reduce absorption of phosphorus
and has a supportive role in helping Pinxav work more effectively.
Methyl Salicylate - Also known
as Oil of Wintergreen. It is a local anesthetic agent and
disinfectant commonly used in toothpaste, mouthwashes, and
perfumes.
Eucalyptol - A colorless oily
liquid, derived from eucalyptus and used in pharmaceuticals,
flavoring, and perfumery. Also called cineole, an oil extracted
from the eucalyptus, which. Promotes healthy tissue.
Oil of Clove - Clove oil is
made from the buds of the flowers of a tree that grows in
tropical to Equatorial regions: Madgascar to Sri Lanka and
Indonesia. It is an intense oil, most commonly used to relieve
dental pain and infection It is antiseptic, carminative, warming,
and very aromatic. It is often used as a flavoring in toothpaste,
mouthwashes, and exotic foods.
Menthol - is a compound obtained
from peppermint oil or other mint oils. Menthol has local
anesthetic and counterirritant qualities.
Aloe - Aloe Vera, whose name
means "shining bitter substance," is widely regarded
as a master healing plant. Aloe Vera gel is a mild anesthetic,
relieving itching, swelling, and pain: it also is antibacterial
and antifungal, increases blood flow to wounded areas, and
stimulates fibroblasts, the skin cells responsible for wound
healing.
Vitamin E - it promotes
healthy skin with it's antioxidant properties. vitamin E prevents
cell damage by inhibiting the oxidation of lipids and the
formation of free radicals.
